Built in 1917, the Historic Walton House's wood frame and stucco exterior is reminiscent of quintessential English cottages. From its soaring gabled roof to surrounding country English flower gardens, you will experience the flavor and Old World charm of England right here in South Florida.
A converted European styled horse stable sits adjacent to the cottage. Fully air-conditioned, it offers all the amenities and comforts of today's most sought after venues.
Nestled between Everglades ad Biscayne National Parks, the Historic Walton house wedding venue is like no other place in South Florida. Imagine taking your vows and celebrating your union amidst coral rock swimming pools and cascading waterfalls.
A large lagoon with beautiful white swans and Japanese koi, and a sunken pond with a flowing waterfall are situated within a 5-acre tropical botanic garden. Adding to the tropical ambiance is a large collection of macaws, parrots, flamingos, waterfowl, cranes, giant tortoises and monkeys.
The centerpiece to this tropical paradise is a large Indonesian style Chickee hut with an expansive deck adjacent to the tropical lagoon.
The Historic Walton House can accommodate up to 175 guests for a sit-down dinner. The Walton House is also a unique location that is ideally suited for the filming of movies or commercials, photo shoots, birthday parties and corporate retreats.
