Luxury automaker wrapped its two city launch of its new $290,000 DBS Volante at the Moore Building in the historic Design District of Miami. Eggwhites Catering was thrilled to cater this very special unveiling. Event marketing firm Miami Marketing Group produced the event, which was attended by over 300 of the city’s more affluent residents (as determined by income and purchasing power).

In addition to being one of the most renowned cities in the country, Miami is one of the largest U.S. markets for Aston Martin. Aston Martin’s event team hired multiple drivers to ferry the five display cars from New York to Miami. Once in Miami, the drivers positioned the cars around the first floor of the Moore Building Miami venue. The cars were strategically lit up in white lights to avoid distorting their colors.
Guest enjoyed a variety of delectable hors d’oeuvres while viewing the new cars. Vintage James Bond movie clips that highlighted several Aston Martin models were featured on a projection screen overhead. Eggwhites kicked off the evening with passed hors d’oeuvres. On the menu were Baby Lamb Chops with Minted Ginger Chutney, Grilled and Chilled Shrimp with Red Pepper Aioli, Caviar Topped Tostones with Key Lime Froth and Chicken Gyoza with Ponzu Sauce.
Later in the evening we opened our specialty carving and pasta stations. The carving station featured a Slow Roasted Herb and Peppercorn Crusted Steamship Barron of Beef with a delicious Dijon Horseradish Sauce. Our pasta station featured made-to-order pasta dishes. Guests had a choice of a variety of pastas with a choice of a delicate Sundried Tomato Pecan Pesto Cream and a Fire Roasted Tomato Basil Marinara.
As the evening came to a close, guests indulged in decadent desserts. Delicate handmade Chocolate Truffles were exquisitely flavored with Passion Fruit and Orchid Milk, Ansellia Dark and Champagne.
And if this evening was not decadent enough, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre displayed its $37,500 limited edition Transponder watch. The watch was created specifically for the Volante, to lock and unlock the car remotely.
